Denver Mayoral Runoff Debate

Friday, May 24th from 1:00 – 3:00 pm
Special edition of “The Aaron Harber Show TM” at Live Nation’s Summit venue in LoDo
“Political Happy Hour” at the Summit venue from 3:00 – 4:30 pm

All Denverites are invited to attend a debate between the two finalists for Denver’s next Mayor, Jamie Giellis and incumbent Mayor Michael Hancock on Friday, May 24th, at the Summit in LoDo (1902 Blake Street,) followed by a “Political Happy Hour.” The event will be recorded for broadcast on Channel 3, KCDO-TV Denver.

The event is free but advance registration is required. You must send an email to with your name and phone number to be added to the guest list.
Aaron Harber, the host of “The Aaron Harber Show TM,” will moderate the debate.  He stated, “I want to thank Michael Hancock and Jamie Giellis for taking the time to give Denver voters the opportunity to see and hear them at an event which is structured to avoid soundbite Politics and, instead, allows us to discuss issues in-depth right at the exact time everyone already will have received their mail ballots.”
He further explained, “So many debates are not accessible to the public but, thanks to Live Nation and its Summit venue, we are able to give hundreds of Denver voters the opportunity to see the candidates in person.  I also would like to thank Channel 3 KCDO-TV President & General Manager Greg Armstrong for being the Prime Sponsor of the event as well as providing us with two hours of broadcast Prime Time on Sunday, May 26th, as a public service for Denver citizens.”  
Members of the public can submit questions to be considered for the debate by sending them to by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, May 22nd.

  • Main Event Times:  Doors open at 12:30 pm.  Event begins at 1:00 pm and ends at 3:00 pm.
  • Parking:  There is metered street parking and paid parking lots nearby the venue.
  • Political Happy Hour:  3:00 – 4:30 pm at the Summit with special discounts for event attendees.
  • Prime Time Broadcast: Parts 1 & 2 on Sunday, May 26th, from 8:00 – 10:00 pm on Channel 3, KCDO-TV Denver (K3 Colorado) over-the-air (by antenna) and Channel 3 on COMCAST, DirecTV, and DISH.
  • Online Availability: Beginning Sunday, May 26th, at (with Parts 1 & 2 both available through Election Day, June 4th).
